Welcome to The Historic Town Hall Inn!
Our hotel is located 5 minutes from Deadwood and 25 minutes from Sturgis, you’ll be right in the middle of all the action and adventure the Black Hills has to offer. The Historic Town Hall Inn was constructed in 1912, and was Lead SD‘s town hall from 1912 until 1938. This ornate building originally housed the mayor’s and treasurer’s offices, the court room, jail, and judge’s chambers. The gallows were located outside, directly behind the building which may explain the occasional ghost sightings. The Homestake Mining Company housed their general offices here for nearly 50 years.
